Aviarc Development Suite
Components
There are four components of the Aviarc™ Development Suite:
- Aviarc Server
- Aviarc Administration
- Aviarc Studio
- Aviarc Documentation
Aviarc Server
The Aviarc Server is the core engine that runs Aviarc rich client web applications. It hosts applications, serves client requests and manages the navigation through a web application.
The Aviarc Server supports the easy deployment of applications and a comprehensive and integrated authentication mechanism that supports major authentication servers and sources such as LDAP and Active Directory.
The server uses technologies such as as AJAX and dynamic screen updates to give users a responsive and user friendly environment.
Aviarc Administration
Through an internet front-end, administration of the Aviarc Server is straight-forward. You have full control of your Aviarc server and it lets you easily install new Aviarc applications or manage existing ones. With Aviarc Administration, you can also quickly and easily export applications into distribution files and import them into another Aviarc Server.
This enables centralised enterprise management of all Enterprise Small Systems implemented in Aviarc.
Aviarc Studio
The Aviarc Studio is a web-enabled set of tools that lets you develop new applications and control every aspect of your projects from any location.
Applications can be rapidly developed in the studio as it allows the focus of development to be on the business logic and user interface, rather than on complex programming languages or development environments.
Aviarc Documentation
Comprehensive documentation is provided to guide you through the entire Aviarc experience. In the documentation, you will find:
- The Aviarc Administration manual,
- Examples and explanations to rapidly build your first Aviarc application
- A developers reference guide, and
- Cookbooks to assist creation of better applications.
Additionally, the default install of Aviarc includes an application that provides full text search across all the documentation, allowing developers rapid access from their browser.
